Getting started
Welcome to Axiomatic. This guide walks through signing in, registering a passkey, choosing an organization, and finding your way around the platform.
Sign in and register a passkey
Axiomatic supports passkeys for passwordless sign-in after you register one on your account.
First sign-in
- Open app.axiomatic.financial and choose Sign in (or Sign up if you are new).
- Sign in with your email and password. Passkey registration requires an active session, so you register it after your first successful sign-in.
Register your passkey
- After you sign in, open Settings → Profile.
- Under Passkeys, choose Register Passkey.
- Complete the prompt on your device (Touch ID, Face ID, Windows Hello, or a security key).
On later visits, use Sign in with passkey on the sign-in page. Passkeys registered on any Axiomatic subdomain work across the app and wallet.
If you lose access to your passkey, sign in with your password and register a replacement from Settings → Profile, or contact your organization admin.
Choose or create an entity
After sign-in you work inside an entity — your personal books or a business organization.
- Just me creates a personal entity with household-style accounts.
- Business setup upgrades the same personal entity or creates org books for sole props and companies.
- Use the entity switcher in the top bar to move between entities you can access.
Each entity has its own chart of accounts, documents, and module data. Billing credits are charged to the active tenant.
Home hub and modules
The Home hub lists modules available to your entity: Ledger, CRM, Invoicing, Work, Helpdesk, Cortex, and others.
- Open a module from Home or the left navigation.
- Cortex answers questions using your Knowledge Base, Help Center articles, and uploaded documents.
- Settings covers team invites, billing credits, integrations, and entity profile.
Get help
- Help Center (this site) — customer-facing guides published from Helpdesk Support Articles.
- Helpdesk — open tickets and browse articles your team maintains.
- Cortex — ask how-to questions in natural language inside the app.
